Graph the circle x^2 + y^2 − 6x + 4y + 4 = 0

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(x-3)^2 + (y+2)^2 = 3^2 centre: (3,-2) radius: 3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@LS1088 i got that im just confused on how to graph it. help please

OpenStudy (anonymous):

|dw:1380955359031:dw| inaccurate as drawing window not big enough

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@LS1088 i can plug the points in so whats the center and the point?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

centre: (3,-2) points on the circle: (3, 1), (0, -2), (3, -5), (6,-2)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@LS1088 yay it work!! how do you know the points?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

because the radius is 3, therefore I find 4 points 3 unit distance away from centre of circle

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you @LS1088
