how to decide which one is a region for integration say for a question like int{lim-0 to 1} int{lim-x^2 to 2-x} xy dxdy. whre int=integral sign and lim=limits ??

This integral doesn't make sense. You can't have limits about \(x\) and integrate with respect to \(x\). You should integrate with respect to \(y\) first.
