Look at the bottom right angle, it says 5(x)-25 The angle has to be below 90 Try each value of x, see which give a result less than 90 to start with.

Don't forget though, that the top left angle has to be above 90 too!

Because of opposite interior angles with parallel lines, the upper left angle, marked in green, is equal to \[(x+30)°\] Knowing that this new angle and 4x are supplements, they add up to 180° \[x+30+4x=180\] Solve for x \[5x+30=180\] \[5x=150\] \[x=30\] Use the value of x to find the angle marked in orange \[30+30=60\] Again, this angle and Angle 1 are supplements; they add up to 180° \[60+angle=180\] \[angle=120\] Hope this helped. It’s a little tricky to get the hang of it the first couple times you do it, but it’s a lot better than guess and check, in the long run.
