A fly and an ant are located in the middle of a floor. If the fly starts moving upward along a straight path of it’s choice, will the ant be able to move along a parallel path?

OpenStudy (noseboy908):

well, if the fly goes straight up, and it has to FLY up, can the ant fly to remain parallel?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no

OpenStudy (anonymous):

see son, the fly flies up .. so practically the ant has to also fly up to move along the same direction .. hence it is not possible for an ant ..perhaps maybe if it was a bird it would work
