You will analyze the painting to complete this assessment activity. Your analysis will be focused on discovering three parts of the painting that show evidence of change in Late Medieval European society and economy. Focus on the interactions between people and try to determine what activity is going on? How does this activity reflect the change in European society or the economy that is happening as guilds developed?

It looks like the people are buying, and selling items in a market place. Also it seems to be a Romanesque style building, and a very small area. You can see rugs within the picture, and that became more common in the medieval times. In the top corners of this painting you can see lots of details. Appearance was very important during the medieval time. Also during this time people made most their own goods; so I can assume that some of the 'goods' on the table are made by themselves.

Good start for this assignment. Make sure your observations are more based on information from the module to describe the scene.
