f(x) = x^2 + 2x a) Graph each quadratic function by determining whether its graph opens up or down and by finding the vertex, axis of symmetry, y-intercept, x-intercepts, if any. b) Determine the domain and range of the function. c) Determine where the function is increasing and where it is decreasing.

http://tutorial.math.lamar.edu/Classes/Alg/Parabolas.aspx a) opens up, vertex: (-1, -1), axis of symmetry at x=-1... you can find the intercepts by solving for zero for each variable b) domain (all values of x) range ( y is equal to or greater than -1) c) find the derivative and see where the values would go from positive to negative (but if you look at the graph you could see it there)
