One of our user @RolyPoly has a suggestion. Instead of posting "swapping answers is illegal" in different groups, why don't we just add a warning message right after "Ask a question..." in the open question box, or anywhere which is clearly visible to the users? @Preetha
seems like a good idea...:)

great idea @hartnn
Right next to that "Current Subject: bla" thing, but bold and perhaps even red.
I'm not sure if a lot of users would bother to read it, but I think it would be a good addition.
@♪Chibiterasu Yes, getting people to read it can be hard. That was why I said red might be good. Also, being careful about the wording might help. Hard to find the correct phrase.
@e.mccormick Yes, it is important to check how you word it so that users who are usually new or don't engage very often get confused and find it confusing and/or offensive.
good idea
I agree
@♪Chibiterasu even if they don't read it they have no reason to say I didn't know, especially if it stands out. It's like bringing something to school you shouldn't and saying you didn't know
liked it...
phrasing: "eric is watching you... now no cheating" ...?
Nah, "The Purple People are watching and carry a ban hammer, so no cheating!" is better than that one.
lol @e.mccormick
ive suggested the same kind of thing thruout the years... it might prevent users from using the site of the valid questions are too cumbersome to work thru tho
after all, the definition of a lock: a device used to keep honest people out.
i still believe that one day, not so far, an admin will take our requests seriously and actually do something....
its "on the list"; that is under the table, where the cat knocked it off to ...
It's a GOOD IDEA. But Will it happen is the question?
