Bunch of girls are sitting and chuckling at the cafeteria table. They were so called “The Popular Girls”. Everyone there obeyed whatever they said without questioning them. Emily, the charismatic new girl, who just came from abroad wasn’t familiar with all these. It was her first day at school. The place where she’s from was no near to the place she has arrived. The rules, the people, the activities and everything else around were all so out of the way to her. Emily was lost and was looking for a companion to guide her just when “the girls” scrutinizes her. how do i make it better
“Girls, Girls, Look over there, at that fob walking around,” says one of the girls. “Are you guys thinking what I’m thinking?” asserted the leader of the group with a devilish smile. “We sure are, baby girl!” responds the rest. They walk up to the girl and ask her to be a part of them. Emily joyfully and hastily agrees with a big cheesy smile on her face. She felt relieved that she finally has friends that even so quickly without her trying much, but she didn’t know what she was stepping into. It was TROUBLE!! For the first couple of days, everything was perfect. Emily loved hanging out with her new friends, enjoying and laughing together. She loved it, loved her school. But then, as time passed by, her friends began to treat her differently, the way she didn’t expect them to turn out. They all started being mean to her. They used to make fun of her clothes, the things she used to do and everything else about her, but at the same time, they used to make her do work. All these distressed her. She couldn’t figure out why they were being that way. She kept on asking herself, “Has she done something wrong?”, “Has she disappointed them?” “Are they doing those as they are mad?” and many more questions were there. All those continue for 2 months now, still Emily didn’t realize that she was being bullied. One day, this girl who is in the same class named Amanda comes up to Emily. Amanda has been noticing for the past couple of days on what is going on with Emily, she felt quite bad and decides to step up to help. Amanda says putting her hand on her shoulder, “Emily, listen to me carefully. Those girls you stay with are not good for you. You need to stay away from them. However they are treating you is bullying. You need to talk to someone about it. ” Emily shockingly says, “They are my friends. Why would they bully me, Amanda? You’re wrong.” Amanda replies, “Just think about it!! Think about the way they treat you. I just wanted to help and all I can do is to advise you to talk to someone” Emily says, tears crawling down her cheeks, “You are right, Amanda!! I... I have been bullied all along. But, how am I supposed to tell anyone? Ain’t I the one responsible for all these some way? ” “Responsible? No. You so aren’t responsible. You didn’t……” Before Amanda could finish her statement, the bell RINGS and they leave for their classes. During the entire time in school, she stays lost. Even at home. She felt ashamed and embarrassed for whatever she went through. At times, she even burst out crying. After thinking so much all day long and her sleepless night, she finally decides the first thing she was going to do was to go with Amanda to the Dean in the morning and inform about her problems. And which is exactly what she did and it was the right thing too. As soon as the dean hears it, she suspends all those girls from that school. Since that day, her school became perfect again with a bit change which was Amanda, her new best friend. (I wrote that after)
