Why can't theories become a law? Give one example?

Theory is a kind of hypothesis, If a theory is proved, it becomes Law... Example, BIG BANG THEORY and LAW OF THERMODYNAMICS.... Big Bang is the hypothetical basis of evolution. Thermodynamic laws are universal. (Fact- Big bang is still a theory, because it does not obey the universal second law of thermodynamics)
