The slope of the tangent line to the curve y=x^2 +4x +7 at x=1 is
I started it and got \[\frac{ d }{ dx }(x^2+4x+7)\]
and then i got 2x+4 as the answer, but the book says its wrong, what did i do wrong
2x+4 is the general slope equation (aka the derivative). To find the value at x=1. you simply need to plug 1 into 2x+4
