Campylobacter jejuni question! I have a presentation on C. jejuni and I want to know what happens when the bacteria enters your body? I know it attaches to the musosal layers in the intestine. But what else does it do? How does it spread? Basically I just want to know what the bacteria does and in the human body. Please and thank you!

OpenStudy (ookawaiioo):

Enters your body by bloodstream- crack in the epithelial cells. Ingestion- by eating or breathing Bacteria can be in the blood stream - septic infection I think most bacteria will reside in your colon/ lymph nodes
