a ribbon is cut into 3 pieces in the ratio 3:2:7 . if the total length of the ration is 24m find the length of each piece . plz explain it

We first find the total of the ratios which is 3+2+7=12 We are given that the whole length is 24m, so 1 part of the ratio will be 24/12 = 2m Then input the length into the 3:2:7 And you should get 6:4:14
