A ball is thrown vertically upward with an initial velocity of 2 ft/sec from a height of 6 feet. Which function models its motion?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the one that looks like \[h=-16t^2+v_0t+h_0\]with \(v_0=2,h_0=6\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

My answer was c

OpenStudy (anonymous):

interesting that in all your answers the variable on the left is \(v\) when it should be \(h\) \(v\) stands for "velocity" whereas \(h\) stands for "height" gently remind you math teacher that height is not velocity

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes, C is right

thank you
