math help please??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Let f(x) = -4x + 7 and g(x) = 10x - 6, find f(g(x)). -40x + 24 -40x + 31 -40x + 64 -40x + 70

OpenStudy (anonymous):

f(g(x)) is f(x) with g(x) plugged in as every x. so f(g(x)) = -4(10x - 6) + 7

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Euler271 what do i do next?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

expand. -4(10x) + (-4)(-6) + 7 = 31 - 40x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

would it be the 3rd one?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Euler271

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i guess. you just want answer?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if thats what you want to give me, im not very good at algebra 2. :c @Euler271

OpenStudy (anonymous):
