I think that's the answer im not sure tho I read this and I think its this one The French and Indian War was fought between the British and the French on American territory, before America was a country. American colonials fought with the British, along with Indian allies, like the Iroquois nations. Other Indian tribes, notably the Hurons and the Algonquians, fought with the French
