Question

Hey guys i'm in need of dire help

Not too sure what the problem is, I get the material but i'm flunking every test I take. I swear it's like I forget everything once I take the test.

I currently have a 62 in math and i'd hate to fail the semester

I mean, I do my homework and I ask for extra practice. I get it, but at the same time once I receive the test my mind goes blank.

I get what you mean, I have that problem all the time! I go to Connexus Academy ( online virtual school) and I get the topics, but I can't put them to use when it comes quiz time!

^^^^^^^^ Good advice.... I always freak out when it comes quiz time. I was a public school student last year, straight A's, basically the "nerd". But ever since I began Cyber-School, my grade wasn't what I wanted it to be so I stressed out.

I just walk away from my laptop for a couple minutes, it relieves stress. :D

Remember math is a conceptual subject. To do well, you must do many, many, many problems. You should do more hw problems than assigned. Also, there are a ton of practice tests and quizzes online. Use them to your advantage. Remember "A miracle is another name for hard work." Do your best!

Oh and if you blank out during the test. Before the test you could write down the formulas and also a hard problem. Work through it and think about it. This will help your brain warm up. Then during the test, try putting down the formulas on the paper, so you don't have to do more thinking than you need to. This is my advice.
