Factor completely: 3x − 12 Factor completely: 4x2 + 16x I need to know the process to solve these so I can do more.

@Luigi0210

OpenStudy (luigi0210):

Simple, what can you factor from the first one?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I don't understand how to do it all but 3 and 12 can go into one another.

OpenStudy (luigi0210):

Exactly

OpenStudy (shamil98):

so take out 3 , the gfc of it 3(x-4) and 4xfor the second one 4x(x + 4)

OpenStudy (luigi0210):

^ What sham said, even though I was gonna take it slow ;-;

OpenStudy (shamil98):

Go hard or go home ;)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I get it , but at the same time slow would of been better I came to learn :D these are the answers I could get a. 3(x − 4) b. 3(x + 4) c. 3x(−12) d. Prime

OpenStudy (shamil98):

It would be a, because if you use the distributive it would become 3x - 12

Bless your soul lol
