You are angry at a friend who forgot to meet you for lunch, and you decide to write an email about how it made you feel. What should you do before you send the email?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lets say i didnt came to your B day and your mad at me what would u do before emailing to me

OpenStudy (goldphenoix):

Who uses e-mail? This is the 21 century!

OpenStudy (goldphenoix):

Hmm. I would call him, and ask him/her to explain why he/she forgot about it.

OpenStudy (goldphenoix):

Or, chill for an hour, and then e-mail him. This will make the message a little bit less aggressive.

OpenStudy (goldphenoix):

"What should you do before you send the email?" as in after you wrote your message, but before you hit the 'send' button? If so, then I would check if my words wasn't 'serious' as in, "I hate you. I wish you were dead." What I'm trying to say is, express your feeling, but don't use words like from the example, because once you put something in the internet, you can never get it back.

im confused

OpenStudy (anonymous):

:/

Before you send the email, you should probably save it as a draft, sleep on it, and then decide the next day if this angry email is worth sending, and if you really want to ruin your relationship with your friend. Accidents do happen, people do forget things!
