looks like some sort of absolute value thing right? only turned upside down and translated a bit from the origin do you know how to find it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok you want me to tell you or show you?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

tell me hahah

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no problem it is shifted left 10 units. so we go from \(|x|\) to \(|x+10|\) then it is flipped over, so go to \(-|x+10|\) and finally it is moved up 3 units that gives \(y=-|x+10|+3\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but this is an inequality, not an equality we are shading the stuff below, so it must be \(\le\) and final answer is therefore \[y\leq -|x+10|+3\] hope this is an answer choice, because i am guessing this is an on line class

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Why thank you and I semi understand now!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

as long as you do not have to take an exam or a quiz, i guess "semi" is good enough if you have a specific question about what i wrote i will be happy to answer it all details are there pretty much
