When two quantities form a direct variation what is it called?

OpenStudy (jack1):

it depends one compared to the other = directly proportional Q1 = k x Q2 (where k is a constant) also could be ratio: Q1/Q2 = k (where k is a constant) it's also just called "direct variation"or direct relationship hey... sometimes there isn't a better term ;D
