OpenStudy (anonymous):

how do i simplify this monomial x(x^2)(x^6)

OpenStudy (hihi67):

It is equal to : x(x*x)(x*x*x*x*x*x)

OpenStudy (luigi0210):

When multiplying exponents: \[\LARGE x^a*x^b=x^{a+b}\]

OpenStudy (hihi67):

That is (x*x*x*x)(x*x*x*x*x*x) or (x^4)(x^6)

OpenStudy (hihi67):

and like luigi said the power is added, so it is x to the power of ten or x^10

OpenStudy (hihi67):

Thanks @Luigi0210
