Factor. 20mn – 15n A. 4m – 3 B. 5m(4n – 3) C. 5n(4m – 3) D. 5mn(4m + 3n)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you can only take out 5n so 5n(4m-3) so the answer is C

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So is it B or C @UditKulka @insanitycat

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its C since if you distribute b you get 20mn-15m not 20mn-15n

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@insanitycat is right i did it in a haste sry

For factor we should divided on the same ! So we have n in both and can say 5 between 15 and 20 . And if we divided this on 5n have : 20mn – 15n/5n=20mn/5n-15n/5n=5n(4m-3) Got it ?:)
