OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

Do you know some of the theorems and postulates that allow you to prove triangles congruent, such as ASA, SAS, SSS?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Not really no.

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

There is no way you can prove any triangles congruent if you don't know those postulates and theorems. It's as if you are asked to solve an equation in algebra withiout knowing how to do any arithmetic. Geometry (as most math) is based on building up your knowledge with concepts that you need to use later. If you don't know these building blocks, you can't solve the problems. Go over the three postulates or theorems I mentioned above. ASA, SAS, and SSS. Also, look at verttical angles, what they are and if they are congruent. I'll be back in around 20 minutes, and will help you with the proofs.
