hey, so i think that openstudy should have a search pad next to the question topics, so that people can search for questions that might have already been asked, that are similar to the question they wanna ask :) if that makes any sense..

HanAkoSolo (jamierox4ev3r):

that's a great idea! You can kinda do that on Google tho... in fact, that is how I found OpenStudy! Also, there should be some kind of function to search for users (since if you are not their fan, its impossible to find them unless they are online). Nice suggestion though....i think that was what you were asking...lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah u can

OpenStudy (e.mccormick):

site:openstudy.com topic to search For example: https://www.google.com/search?&q=site%3Aopenstudy.com+site+search I agree it is a great idea, but I think they are going to be working on stability for a while rather than new tools.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (e.mccormick):

The link is a link to an example of a Google site search.

OpenStudy (preetha):

Very clever Eric and Jamie. That is the best way to do this search for now. Tell me why you want a search? DO you want to search for people? for questions like yours?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well.. i guess searching for people too, but i was thinking that u could search for a question that has already been asked, maybe even answered, and save time by not asking it urself. :)

OpenStudy (opcode):

I rarely find one of my homework questions asked on this site, but there are question alike it. If that users got a good explanation I can just read it through and understand it otherwise I ask for help :-). I think OpenStudy should have what Stack Exchange has before you post your question it shows you a list of questions that are alike your question.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

or a search bar so you can look up people!

OpenStudy (e.mccormick):

@Bloom23 The feedback section is a way to contact OS about it. hehe.
