Is Rolle's Theorum discussed in lecture/recitation anywhere? Prb. Set 5, 2G-5 references it, but I cannot find anywhere that it's discussed (apart from a reference to the textbook)...

I believe that's because the problem set was initially created for an older Single Variable course which also featured handouts not included in the "Scholar" course. Anyway, Rolle's Theorem is mentioned in the handout for the Mean Value Theorem, found here: http://ocw.mit.edu/courses/mathematics/18-01-single-variable-calculus-fall-2006/readings/mvt_mns_vluethrm.pdf Rolle's Theorem is just a special case of the Mean Value theorem when f(a)=g(a)=0.
