The right to vote is a cornerstone of democracy. In the 2012 election only 45% of eligible voters aged 18-29 voted in the election. Why do you think less than half of eligible people in that age group voted in the election? Do you think the lower voter turnout is a good or bad thing? Why or why not? Can someone help me understand this? I'm terrible at history. :/
