he Odometer. Not to be confused with the 1 or 2, A or B Trip meters. Most newer cars (from about 1997 up) also have the mileage in the ECM. Keep in mind that the odometer is a close measurement, not 100% accurate, due to tire size and worn gearing on the sender/sensor. Also most cars/trucks do not accrue for reverse.
