How would you help someone remember the difference between rational and irrational numbers?

OpenStudy (agent0smith):

Rational numbers you can write as fractions, they are also terminating decimals or repeating decimals (ie they end, or repeat the same numbers forever)... eg 2/3, 5/8, 566/233, 0.14471, 9.9872, 8.2323232323... (notice the 23 repeats) Irrationals can not be written as fractions, and are non-terminating non-repeating decimals (they go on forever and have no pattern that repeats) eg. 2.38728759181..., square root of 2, square root of 3, pi, 0.237898119446...
