OpenStudy (johnjules2000):

I have the answer, but want to double check. 1/5n + 3 = 6. I have the answer to be 15 (where n is 15). The 1/5 is a fraction. Is n=15?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so the equation is 1/5n+3=6 substract 3 from both sides 1/5n=3 then multiply both sides by 5 n=15 so you are indeed correct!
