I first used the quadratic formula to get a general idea of what the solution should be. Do you know how to do that?

That brought me to (x-4)(x+2/3) which obviously is not the factorization. But I noticed that I just needed to multiply the first binomial by 2 and the second by 3 to get (2x-8)(3x+2) which works.
