@hartnn

hartnn (hartnn):

the period of A cos (wx+b) will be 2pi/w what is w here = ... ?

hartnn (hartnn):

compare cos (wx+b) with x w=..? b=...?

hartnn (hartnn):

When you find w the Period T just = 2pi /w

Im not sure how to find w and b? Can you give me the answer and how you got it? this is just a practice problem so it doesnt count for anything, i have others im going to do on my own once i understand this @hartnn

hartnn (hartnn):

x can be written as 1x+0 , right ? so comparing it with wx+b, we get w=1, b =0 got this ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah so far

hartnn (hartnn):

good, so period is just 2pi/w here, just 2pi thats it!

Thanks!
