Which of the following describes a conductor? A.)Does not allow electrons to move through easily B.)Allows electrons to move through it easily C.)It is always a solid D.)It is always a gas I'm going with either A.) or B.) because they have charges regardless if they are negative, they are still electrical charges. I'm just curious to which would be the better answer. After critical analysis, I still can't conjure the answer. Which is rather problematic. Hopefully someone can help me with this simplistic endeavor. Anyways, thank you to those who have read this, take care.
First of all this is the mathematics section and you asked a physics question. Secondly, welcome to OpenStudy. Third, questions of facts can be Googled and should provide you with better explanation than one written impromptu on here. But I will Google something for you this time that will help. http://hyperphysics.phy-astr.gsu.edu/hbase/electric/conins.html "In a conductor, electric current can flow freely, in an insulator it cannot."
I figured the answer out. It's B.) to allow electrons to move through easily.
Yeah, this is my second question. Rather new to the site. Thank you for telling me about my error in asking a question. Didn't notice that. Anyway to avoid posting in the wrong section? If so, it'll be much appreciated.
Answer is B But conducter is solids as well as gases under some condition like in cathode experiment
Do you know how to find other subjects on here? On the top you should see "Find More Subjects" beside your notification icons. Make full use of OS and learn! :)
I'm well aware of how to use websites. I'm just new to this site. I have a lot of knowledge. Just refining it as all for the fun of it. Yeah, I see the button, I just want to avoid this problematic endeavor of me posting in the wrong section is all. As for OS, it's interesting so far. When I first saw OS, I assumed Operating System by habit since I'm a computer programmer.
Well I asked since you're new to the site and every site is different in some way. But yes, you should post according to the subjects on here so the right people can help you.
Yeah, I'm well aware of that, lol. And I appreciate your lighthearted response. It was informative and helpful. Anyways, it's nice to see a atmosphere of people that are trying to learn. I'm just a 'gerd' geek/nerd, but I'm a bit rusty sadly. Anyways, I digress, take care, and have a great day. -Michael
