HEALTH, I GIVE MEDALS How do I get my RHR? (resting heart rate)

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

sitting down, put your index & middle finger on the pulse in you neck. Count the beats over 1 minute. That is your resting heart rate.

OpenStudy (kewlgeek555):

The Resting Heart Rate should be determined in the morning, when you wake up. Grab a stopwatch and with your other hand find your pulse. You can do this in your writs, or in your neck. Just choose what you are more comfortable with. :-) Remember - NEVER USE YOUR THUMB TO MEASURE HEARTRATE. The best way to measure is using your index and middle finger. Count how many beats happen in sixty second. OR, count how many beats happen in ten seconds, then multiply by six.
