2(t-1)+3t< 2 The Equation 2t - 2 + 3t< 2 Distributive Property (2(t-1) is the same as 2*t - 2*1 5t - 2 < 2 Combine like-terms Add the t's together 5t < 4 Add 2 to both sides to get t by itself t < .8 divide 4 by 5 to get t by itself
