d=sqrt(1300t^2-360t+25)

OpenStudy (agent0smith):

That's an equation. Is there a question...?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

For what value of t is d smallest?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

use a graphing utility to graph d for what value of t is d smallest. round to three decimal places.

OpenStudy (agent0smith):

I can't really help you do this on a graphic calculator... you'll have to just try it. Use the calculator to find the Minimum

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Can this be done in excel?

OpenStudy (agent0smith):

probably.. you can just do it with wolfram alpha if you need http://www.wolframalpha.com/input/?i=minimum+value+of+d%3Dsqrt%281300t%5E2-360t%2B25%29
