Why am I not getting a negative infinity for an answer. My TI 89 keeps giving me undef instead of negative infinity

Im looking for the limit of 1/cube root of x^2-4 as it approaches 2 from the left

Wolfram Alpha showed it to be negative infinity. My calculator gives me undefined.

haven't used this calculator but are you sure that you're defining "from the left" correctly?

the limit itself is undefined so the issue must be that it is interpreting it as simply lim x->2
