NEED HELP !!! ): Locate the passage at the very end of Act II of The Night Thoreau Spent in Jail that begins with, "I may not be there at the pond place," and goes to the end of the play. Omit Bailey's line and do not read the stage directions. Your assignment is to interpret the stage directions and use them to decide how you should read the lines. Use the principles of DEER (Dynamics, Enunciation, Expression, and Rate) to show that you understand the meaning the passage and the voice of the Thoreau character. Practice carefully several times before submitting your final recording.
