How to solve y=x^2-6 Quadratic function? how can i put it in standard form?

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

well this in in standard form \[y = ax^2 + bx + c\] it just means that in your question b = 0 but you should let y = 0 then you are solving \[x^2 - 6 = 0\] add 6 to both sides of the equation and then take the square root of the answer
