@Directrix

Directrix (directrix):

If ABCD ~ EFGH then the corresponding sides are in proportion. AB is to EF as BC is to FG

OpenStudy (lukecrayonz):

A good tip: Flip the shapes so they look the same.

OpenStudy (lukecrayonz):

Yes

Directrix (directrix):

AB/x = BC/FG where x = EF 8/x = 15/7.5 8/x = 2/1 x = ? @dopegyal_

OpenStudy (anonymous):

8

Directrix (directrix):

I did not get 8. Lemme check my work.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

my options are 7,4,9,2 0.0

Directrix (directrix):

I'm stick with 4. This notion of flipping figures over so that they look the same -- I don't know about that. Because the correspondence of vertices was given to us in the problem: Given ABCD ~ EFGH ------------ @dopegyal_ How did you and the Crayon get 8?

Directrix (directrix):

8 is not an option. The work says 4 is the answer.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OK!:D thanks

Directrix (directrix):

You are welcome.
