ok,an example for doing that would be that 2/3 would be right 2 up 3, -5/6 would be left 5 and up six, do you understand? do that then see if they cross or not
Yes, I do know how to graph. The example in my text, however, is not showing to graph? it says in the example that I am trying to follow along with: a. Find the slope of a line parallel to the line with the given slope. b. find the slope of a line perpendicular to the line with the given slope and says give line has a slope of -6 m=-6 and that the slope of a line perpendicular to the given line is m=+1/6
ok well I learnt in school that graphing makes it really easy, so follow my example above and graph it to see the 2 lines and you can find it out much much easier.
