thesis statement on what does it mean to be a true lady?

One example would be many First Ladies, Lady Bird was a favorite. They were able to capture the hearts of America and many had as much of an affect as their husbands did. Abigail Adams often wrote to her husband don't forget the women. My opinion is a lady is someone strong. She has her own opinions and stands up for others. She wants to create an impact but also has manners.

Support it with real people, remember this is what you believe. I don't remember her name as I didn't hear about her until she died, but there was this girl who loved makeup and had cancer. Instead of letting herself down that her life was a ticking time bomb, she did what she loved and fought hard. She is in my opinion a lady.
A lady is someone you can look up to, a role model.

This defines a true lady because a true lady is a woman with the will to empower others. She doesn't have to be graceful or beautiful, but she wants to make a difference in other peoples lives.

Standing up for others, animals. I think standing up for others is the most important thing they do. They create a chain of people who do the same.

The reason is a lady is there to leave her mark. It may be saving one person's life or saving thousands. A lady is NOT self absorved.
She is strong because if she is going to change other peoples lives, she is going to have to be strong enough to do that. If she can not hold herself together she wouldn't be able to succeed.
She stands up for others because she knows it right. She isn't afraid to stop a bully from picking on the smaller boy, even if the bully is bigger than her
She creates an impact because others follow in her lead. This defines a true lady because she has leadership skills .
