What does 2m mean in front of an angle in geometry and how do i find the x in these problems? Okay so this is the worksheet i have to do:http://static.k12.com/eli/bb/343/-1/0/1_124702_23933/-1/a28786d33933139b9263e1d2f361598db3cefa78/media/2fed041a3ae690743b1a035b09de07f2870dd814/88431.PDF thanks for your help
The m in front just means the measure of that angle, like it says in the later problems. To find the x in 6,7,8, and 10, you have to add up those unknown angles and set them equal to the entire angle. Like in ten, it would be 50 + (2x=4) = 100 then solve for x. Also remember that complimentary angles add up to 90, and supplementary angles add up to 180.
Thank you so much! that helped me understand it better (:
Welcome :) and in my response it should say (2x+4), not 2x=4 :P
@AllTehMaffs so in number 10 ,does x equal 27?
