Hello,  Pressure and Volume can be related by the equation:

$$P _{1}V _{1} = P _{2}V _{2}$$

so, 9(500) = x(750)

x = 6 (your third question)

as far as other questions... the new pressure is bigger... states that in the problem and the new volume is smaller
