The speed of a train is reduced uniformly from 572 m/s to 107 m/s while traveling a distance of 900 m. Compute the acceleration and how much further will it travel before coming to rest, if it continues to slow at a constant rate of acceleration?

For the train problem use: \[a= \Delta v/\Delta t\] and for the second part \[v _{f}^{2}=v _{i}^{2}+2ax\]
