One-third of a certain journey was covered at a rate of 25 km per hour, one-fourth at the rate of 30 km per hour and the rest at the rate of 50 km per hour. Find the average speed per hour for the whole journey.

We let the total distance be s ok then s/3 of the distance is 25km/hr and (2s/3)/4 by 30 and remaining s/2 by 50 km/ hr

So average speed =total distance by total time so final equation will be s/(s/75+s/180+s/100) if solved we get 34.615 denominator are the respective time speed by distance hence problem finish
