Guys please help me with this one math question.. **Geometry

http://screenshot.co/#!/829efe28fa This is the math question

OpenStudy (anonymous):

look at the 4xdeg, so we know that 4x> 90 and x>22.5 that eliminates the first answer 4x> than 90 but 4*120 is way too much so that eliminates the bottom answer you are left with either 25 or 30 deg. place both those values one at a time into the two bottome angles and determine which one must be correct

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is it 25?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

remember the top left corner? 4x- 90 must be the complementary angle to x+30 below it, check to see if it is valid there

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay. I think I somewhat understand. thanks for helping me!

in other words if you drew a perpendicular line up and down to form a triangle on the left side, using x= 24, the top corner angle would be 10deg (25*4 -90) then the bottom would be 55 deg 10 + 55 + 90 does not = 180

=30
