In 2006, 375 high school juniors attended the City Wide Spring Dance. In 2008 the attendance had increased to 935 high school juniors. If the attendance continues to increase at this rate, what is a reasonable projection for attendance in 2012?

Easier approach for you: It increased 560 students for the 2-year period, so in the next 4 year - period 2008 until 2012, it would increase twice 560 or 1,120 students.

So the population would be 935 + 1,120 = 2,055
