Which sentence is punctuated correctly? My karate gi is made of heavy cotton fabric that pulls away moisture. My karate “gi” is made of heavy cotton fabric that pulls away moisture. My karate ‘gi’ is made of heavy cotton fabric that pulls away moisture. My karate “gi” is made of heavy cotton fabric that pulls away moisture.

Ummmm.... none of them. In Japanese, gi is a counter for clothing, karategi (one word) in a karate uniform, judogi is judo uniform, and there are others. But the gi is part of the word, not separate, so doing them as separate words is just a poor translation.
