PLEASE HELP:

OpenStudy (ybarrap):

4-sided die has possibilities: 1,2,3,4 6-sided die has possibilities: 1,2,3,4,5,6 Combined, they have possibilities: 1,1 1,2 ... 4,5 4,6 There are 4 \(\times \) 6 =24 possibilities. Find them and sum the pair to answer a) Look for a 3 or 4 but not both in each combined possibility, count them to answer b)

OpenStudy (ybarrap):

Once you sum, divide each by 24 to get their probabilities. That's it!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@ybarrap so the answer to a) would be 1/6 correct?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@ybarrap and b would be 7/12?
