Changed the order. "It is believed by many people that..." Then look at words or phrases that can change that up some more. Look at different words for many people. Lots, some percentage if you have it, a large number of people. Etc. The thesaurus is your friend! http://thesaurus.com/browse/belief Lots there, but if you look at meaning and context you probably want feel or something more complex that uses one of the others. "Are of the mindset," is an example of that.
